With the correct permissions, the person you shared your calendar with can see the category colors you assigned to appointments: If you are setting the permissions in Outlook on the web, choose ' Can view all details ' or ' Can edit '. To set or check the permissions using Powershell, use the Set-MailboxFolderPermission cmdlet. After this I have access to the shared calendar with reviewer permissions (I can open a meeting in the shared calendar in Outlook 2016). The strange thing is that the reviwer permission is already set (before this) on me and the other users when I look in the Exchange server.

I've got Outlook 2016 for Mac installed on a user's machine, and he wants to open up a couple of shared calendars from another user's account. The environment is hosted Exchange via Office 365. I have no problem opening the other user's default calendar, but I can't seem to find where you can access the other user's other, non-default calendars.
I haven't found any documentation which specifically speaks to opening another user's non default calendar on Outlook for Mac. I know how to do it on Outlook for Windows. I know how to do it on Outlook for Windows. You can see if the calendar is in the list. File- Open - Other Users Folder.
Change the Folder Type to Calendar, then you can search for the calendars by name. I follow the same click path you are describing, but after changing the folder type to Calendar, and then clicking Open, it just opens the other user's default calendar. I don't see an opportunity to search for any other calendars owned by that user. Am I missing it?
